Brofer supports innovation with the sponsorship of UniZEB, a cutting-edge UNIPD project.

We are excited to share that yesterday, May 30, 2024, our team represented by Paolo Delfitto and Enrico Bertelli, took part in the inauguration of the UniZEB project, born from a multidisciplinary team of Unipd - at the Padua Construction School - of which Brofer is a sponsor.
UniZEB is an initiative that aims to develop a cutting-edge 80m² laboratory building. Built with innovative technologies such as cross-laminated timber (CLT), this building will offer comfort, usability and accessibility for people with disabilities. Designed for a typical family, it will have areas dedicated to conviviality, service and rest, organized around a central patio.
But UniZEB will not just be a sustainable home, but rather a real open-air laboratory, infrastructured and computerized to constantly monitor the functioning of the technologies installed in real conditions of use. This will allow companies like ours to test cutting-edge solutions.
